1. Tell Boo about you
Start with your birth date. It sets your sun sign, the backbone of every reading. If you know your birth time and birthplace, add them for your rising sign and a little more nuance; if not, tap “I don’t know it” and the reading simply skips the rising tone.
You can also choose up to two life vibe chips (new city, couple move, solo reset, career shift, soft landing, wild card) so the reading speaks to the chapter you’re in.
2. Add the place
Paste a listing link from Zillow, Redfin, Apartments.com, StreetEasy or similar, or type a street or neighborhood like “Hayes Valley”. Pick Renting or Buying; renting readings focus on this chapter, buying readings lean toward roots and the long view. Optional vibe words (“sunlit, quiet nights, coffee”) add color.
Luckboo never shows house or unit numbers. A link becomes a neighborhood-level “whispered” place name on your result and share card.
3. Pull your reading
After a short ritual animation you get:
- A luck score from 0 to 100, banded into a mood word.
- Anchored (70–100): steady, supportive, a place to settle in.
- Sparks (40–69): lively energy with a little friction, great for a fresh chapter.
- Soft no (0–39): a quieter or mismatched vibe today; a nudge to compare options, not a warning.
- Three reasons it fits, one watch-out, and a tiny move-in ritual.
Share it as a link or a 9:16 / 1:1 card, or tap Add their chart for a couple reading with a together score.
What’s under the hood
Readings are written by an open-source AI language model following Luckboo’s reading guide: warm, specific, short, and never claiming facts about the property. If the model is busy or you hit the fair-use limit (about 10 readings an hour), you’ll see a sample reading instead of an error.
Your inputs are used once to write the reading and aren’t stored in a database. Recent readings live only in your browser. Read the full privacy note.
Inspiration, not advice
Luckboo is for inspiration. It can’t see the property, the lease, or the neighborhood’s real data, so always do your real checks: visit, read the lease, get an inspection if you’re buying, and talk to licensed professionals. Our guide to home astrology for renters vs buyers lists the practical checks that matter most.
