Short version: we collect as little as we can, we don’t sell your data, and your waitlist email is only used to tell you about Luckboo.
Readings
To make a reading you enter a birth date (and optionally a birth time and birthplace), a few life-context chips, and a listing link, address, or neighborhood — plus, for a couple card, a partner’s birth date. We send that to our AI provider (currently Groq, running an open-source model) to write the reading, and send the result back to your browser. We don’t keep these inputs in a database. Your recent pulls are saved only in your own browser (local storage) and you can clear them anytime.
Waitlist
If you join the waitlist we store your email address and the time you signed up, so we can email you about Luckboo launches and features. That’s it — no selling, no sharing for ads. Every email will have a way to opt out, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.
Analytics & abuse protection
- We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and visits. It’s aggregated and doesn’t use cookies to track you across sites.
- To keep the free tier affordable we rate-limit readings using a one-way hash of your IP address, kept for about a day at most.
- Like most websites, our host keeps short-lived server logs for security and debugging.
